Full marbled sheep bindings, smooth spines richly decorated with gilt decorative motifs, red morocco title and volume labels, traces of rubbing on spines, rubbed headcaps with small lacks, small worming with three small holes and a lack to the title label of volume 1, one joint of volume 1 cracked, one joint of volume 2 slightly cracked at foot, corners bumped, contemporary bindings.
One pen annotation on the rear endpaper of volume 2, very occasional foxing.
