Autograph letter dated February 14, 1968 and signed by Marcel Pagnol, three pages traces of trombone and folds inherent to the placement of the letter in an envelope. In this letter, Marcel Pagnol informs his correspondent of a discussion he had had in Monaco and with Philippe Rageneau, then director of the programs of the two French television channels, "of a project of broadcast for the end of year celebrations. " Pleased with this perspective of the presentation of a new work, he went to work but doubt, for lack of time, the successful completion of the project. This is why he spontaneously suggests "a Christmas tale that has never been passed on your antennas, but which is quite known in the world since there are school editions for foreign colleges, and translations in several languages.
