Full old rose morocco binding, spine with four wide false raised bands decorated with fillets and compartments with cherry branch designs stamped in blind, boards decorated with a large plate framed with fillets representing a war helmet abandoned in a landscape of ruins surmounted by a cherry branch, covers and spine preserved, top edge gilt, contemporary binding signed Kieffer.
