Publisher's binding in full royal blue cloth. Smooth spine with gilt title. Large polychrome and gilt plate on the upper cover depicting Louis XIV on horseback. The title in a red leather cartouche. Rubbing under the cartouche. Headcaps slightly depressed. Foxing on the endpapers but otherwise fresh paper, free from foxing.
Very handsome copy.
