Full caramel gauffered calf binding, spine with five raised bands decorated with gilt compartments embellished with gilt arabesques, navy calf title label, some light rubbing to spine without consequence, double gilt and blind fillet frame on the gauffered boards, coat of arms of the Order of the Garter stamped in gilt on the front board, gilt fillets on the leading edges, corners very slightly bumped, a central tear on the back board, marbled edges, marbled endpapers and pastedowns, contemporary English binding.
