Half caramel marbled sheep binding, spine faded with two raised bands decorated with a central gilt fleuron, gilt date and double fillet at foot, traces of rubbing to spine, lemon shagreen title-label, joints rubbed, marbled paper boards, marbled endpapers and pastedowns, original wrappers preserved, top edge gilt, contemporary binding.
Autograph inscription signed by the translator, Léon Bocquet, to the poet Jean Ott.
