Full navy blue morocco binding, spine with four raised bands showing some rubbing, gilt date at foot of spine, gilt roulettes on headcaps, double gilt fillets and gilt floral motifs framing the guards and watered silk floral endpapers and pastedowns, all edges gilt, original wrappers preserved, double gilt fillets on leading edges, contemporary binding signed by Chambolle-Duru.
