First edition of 253 copies and which was not printed on large paper. Binding in full black morocco, spine in five compartments with gilt fillets and decorated with double gilt panels, gilt date at the foot, gilt roll tooling on the spine ends, frame of triple gilt fillets on the boards, iridescent mauve silk endpapers, frame of six gilt fillets and a strip of violet morocco on the pastedown endpapers, covers preserved, all edges gilt, double gilt fillets on the leading edges, slipcase lined with black morocco, comb-patterned paper boards with light scratches, sky blue felt interior, magnificent binding signed Maylander. This work is complete with three inset portraits of Tristan Corbière, Arthur Rimbaud and Stéphane Mallarmé printed on China. Several of the most famous poems by Arthur Rimbaud are published here for the first time, including “Voyelles”. A trace of an ex-libris glued to the top of a white endpaper. A very beautiful copy superbly set in a perfect signed full morocco binding, free from any foxing, which, according to Clouzot, is very rare.
