Autograph inscription signed by José Maria de Heredia to Paul L. de Viefville to first volume.
This copy is enriched with an autograph letter of one and a half pages from José Maria de Heredia to Paul de Viefville in which he recommends that the latter obtain a copy from Alphonse Lemerre, having no more copies of the work to hand.
Tears to upper headpieces.
