Bradel binding in full brown cloth, smooth spine very lightly browned decorated with a gilt floral motif, double gilt fillets and gilt date at foot, black shagreen title-label, original wrappers preserved with small marginal restorations, one upper corner slightly bumped, contemporary binding.
The final endpaper is marginally creased.
Precious autograph inscription signed by Anatole France to his friend Marcel Schwob.
