Beautiful autograph signed by Paul Eluard, on the first volume, to his friend the poet Charles Dobzynski: "... who has the real power to show us the real united to man ..."
This friendship was fundamental for Dobzinski, since it was Eluard who discovered the young poet of 20 years and introduced him to the "Lettres Françaises" in 1949 where he met in particular Louis Aragon and Elsa Triolet who prefaced several of his works.
