Full blue morocco binding, spine illustrated with a dusky pink mosaic morocco decoration showing a jar containing a lush plant made with a piece of green mosaic morocco, all resting on a balustrade running the entire width of the binding and produced using fawn mosaic morocco, first board decorated with a large brown and green mosaic morocco composition depicting a tree and its foliage enriched with gilt edging for the veins, paper endpapers with stylized geometric motifs handcrafted by Marguerite de Félice, black mosaic framing in the corners of the endpapers evoking bushes crossed by gilt veins, covers and spine preserved, top edge gilt on the rough, splendid contemporary Art Deco binding signed Marguerite de Félice with his Japanese-inspired monogram blind-stamped at the foot of the first endpaper. Beautiful full-margined copy set in a typical and spectacular Art Deco mosaic binding by Marguerite de Félice and decorated inside, on the endpapers, with silver-patterned paper that she designed herself.
