Braided bradel half morbid maroquiné navy, smooth back decorated with a floral golden pattern, golden date and double fillet in tail, paper plates with moiré effect, guards and contreplats of marbled paper, couyvertures and back preserved, golden head .
Signed autograph of Léon Bloy: "To my old friend Joseph Uzanne by whom came to me so many consolations."
Our copy is enriched by an autograph letter signed by a page of Leon Bloy, dated May 10, 1908, in which he requires the solicitude and generosity of his correspondent asking him to help him in order to better prepare the first Communion of his daughter Madeleine Bloy by autograph dedication of the author him a prayer book.
We join the box of the commemoration of the first communion of Madeleine Bloy, in Saint-Jean the Evangelist of Montmartre on May 19, 1908, on which she wrote, on June 6, 1908, a few words of thanks for the prayer book which was given to him and which belonged previously to the mother of his correspondent.
