First edition, one of the 400 on "bouffant" paper, only draw after 12 antique white Laid numbered.
Rare and pleasant copy despite the back and boards slightly and marginally discolored as usually, a tiny rift without gravity at the head of the first board.

Handsome autograph insciption from Léon Bloy to the painter Georges Rouault: "Rien pour son art - Il n'y a pas de caricature".
Spine reinforced with some filled in lacks, a tear repaired to the half title page,the one with the inscription.
This copy has a chemise an slipcase of full black morocco over marbled paper boards, lined with sheep.
