First edition printed on ordinary paper.
Bradel binding in full anise green cloth, smooth spine very slightly faded and with two small stains at head, boards, endpapers and pastedowns of moiré-effect paper, covers and spine preserved, modest contemporary binding.
Autograph inscription signed by Tristan Bernard to Henri Lavedan: "... ce livre où j'ai essayé de contenter par un mirage des tas de goûts insatisfaits. Bien affectueusement Tristan Bernard."
