L'Omnibus de Corinthe (subtitled "illustrated vehicle of general ideas") is an illustrated supplement to the review La Critique created by the Nabi painter Marc Mouclier. In total, twelve fascicles executed in lithographic pencil and printed in zincography by Eugène de Solenière were published every three months starting from October 1896. They are extremely rare today and the Bibliothèque Nationale de France - which owns a complete collection on Japan paper - has only digitized half of them in very poor resolution. The enigmatic title of this publication draws from a Greco-Latin proverb « Non licet omnibus adire Corinthum » ["It is not permitted for everyone to enter Corinth"] and each issue is a "journey" inviting the reader to board this eccentric vehicle. The illustrations are principally by Edmond Couturier, Ibels, Henri Gustave Jossot, Marc Mouclier and Louis Valtat - the texts are the work of Willy, Georges Bans, Alcanter de Brahm, Charles Fuinel, Émile Straus (under the pseudonyms Papyrus and Martine), Jean de Caldain and Marc Mouclier.
