L'Omnibus de Corinthe (subtitled "illustrated vehicle of general ideas") is an illustrated supplement to the review La Critique created by the Nabi painter Marc Mouclier. In total, twelve fascicles executed in lithographic crayon and printed in zincography by Eugène de Solenière were published every three months starting in October 1896. They are now extremely rare and the Bibliothèque Nationale de France - which possesses a complete collection on Japan paper - has only digitized half of them in very poor resolution. The enigmatic title of this publication takes up a Greco-Latin proverb « Non licet omnibus adire Corinthum » ["It is not permitted for everyone to enter Corinth"] and each issue is a "journey" inviting the reader to climb aboard this eccentric vehicle. The illustrations are principally by Edmond Couturier, Ibels, Henri Gustave Jossot, Marc Mouclier and Louis Valtat - the texts are the work of Willy, Georges Bans, Alcanter de Brahm, Charles Fuinel, Émile Straus (under the pseudonyms of Papyrus and Martine), Jean deCaldain and Marc Mouclier.
