Rare and fragile first edition of this recto-verso tract, printed clandestinely in 1942 by the French Communist Party (S.F.I.C.), denouncing the Service du Travail Obligatoire.
Horizontal fold to the document, small tears and minute marginal lacks.
The tract begins with the stirring slogan "Tous unis contre l'odieux marchandage de LAVAL-HITLER" ("All united against the odious bargaining of LAVAL-HITLER") and concludes with a thundering: "VIVE LA REPUBLIQUE ! VIVE LA FRANCE, LIBRE ET INDEPENDANTE !" ("Long live the Republic! Long live France, free and independent!")
