The author, De Rossi (1754-1827) describes the Sculpture minutely, detail by detail, and analyzes the feelings it provokes. The author wrote several opuscules of this type.
    One copy located at the Bibliothèque Nationale de France, but absent from English and French catalogues as well as the British Library.
