Typed letter signed by Albert t'Serstevens on Christmas B. de La Mort, envelope attached. Date and place at the top of the page, signature in black ink at the bottom of the letter. Two corrections and an addition to the pen of the author's hand.
Alebert t'Serstevens writes this letter following the request of his recipient who is a journalist and literary critic. He provides more information on two of his novels - The Spanish Route and The Feast in Amalfi , which he wrote during "wanderings" in Spain - so that Christmas B. prepared an interview. He then proceeds to a very precise description of his Paris apartment in a paragraph of 14 lines to locate the interview: "My apartment looks like the home port of an old squadron (...)" . The author concludes his letter by announcing to his addressee his future trips to the West Indies.
