Alebert t'Serstevens writes this letter following the request of his recipient who is a journalist and literary critic. He provides more information on two of his novels - The Spanish Route and The Feast in Amalfi , which he wrote during "wanderings" in Spain - so that Christmas B. prepared an interview. He then proceeds to a very precise description of his Paris apartment in a paragraph of 14 l
