Original ink drawing signed and dated by George Barbier, with its two superimposed tracings bearing Barbier's ink drawings indicating pochoir patterns for silver and pink colors. With Barbier's measurement annotations in pencil. One leaf and two tracings pasted to a sheet of Canson paper.
The plate appeared on page 248, issue 8, 1922, of the famous Gazette du Bon Ton, a luxury fashion magazine Barbier contributed to with numerous in-text and full-page plates. 
An exceedingly rare and important document for understanding George Barbier's working method for colorizing his works with pochoir.
