Collection of 4 letters written by missionaries in Tripoli, Tunis and Marseilles in 1700, the first on the state of the kingdom of Tripoli, the second on the kingdom of Tunis, the third on that of Algiers, the last on the redemption of slaves and captives.
Contemporary brown sheep binding. Spine with raised bands richly decorated. Tail headcap worn. Upper joint narrowly cracked at head. Rubbing. Corners bumped. Some leaves yellowed. Good copy.
