Framing fillet with fleurons in the corners, framing frieze. Edges gilt. Some rubbing. Gilt slightly faded. Handsome copy.
Study on the sources and history of the earliest languages (Phoenician, Canaanite, Hebrew, Greek...). Notable for numerous passages in Hebrew and Greek. The author was professor of oriental languages at Utrecht.
