    First edition of this collection of humorous texts principally based on ribaldry and drinking.
    Later mid-19th century binding in half wine-colored glazed calf (spine lightened) with raised bands and gilt and blind fillets.
    The work contains 12 texts by different authors whose titles are sufficiently significant in their irreverent character (one will note several Disputatio, but on cucurbits or the right to jest). The text is written in Latin and not in the vernacular, making it a violent satire against the learned and the church, which was not mistaken when it placed the book in its index of forbidden books.

Each portrait is framed by a four-line Latin epigram. The map of Hungary and Transylvania is lacking, as is almost invariably the case.
