The complete work was reissued in 1929-1930, 1957 and 1960. Hugues Berthier's copy (1869-1958), chief colonial administrator, with his ink stamp. Berthier served as Secretary-General of the Government-General of Madagascar in 1922 and taught Malagasy at the École coloniale in Paris from 1908 to 1910.
