Full cardboard binding in imitation vellum, smooth spine very lightly browned, gilt date at tail, brown shagreen title label with small scratches, marbled endpapers and pastedowns, top edge gilt, bookplate pasted at head of one pastedown, original wrappers preserved.
Some minor light foxing, gift inscriptions facing the half-title page.
