First edition. Contemporary binding in half red Russia morocco, smooth spine damaged at headcap and rubbed at tail, red cardboard-style paper boards showing some surface wear. Volume detached from its binding. Regnault here publishes an egalitarian manifesto of great audacity. The tabular presentation is employed for pedagogical purposes with the aim of comparing different types of governments while showing himself very unfavorable to monarchy. The author publishes this indictment under the pretext of making Montesquieu's text accessible to all.
