Full bronze sheep binding, spine with five raised bands, navy morocco title-label, date at tail, gilt rolls on the headcaps, blind-ruled frame on the boards struck at their centers with the gilt arms of Guillaume Gabriel Pavé Vandeuvre (1779-1870), deputy of Aube and Peer of France, double gilt fillets on the leading edges, marbled endpapers and pastedowns, speckled edges, contemporary binding signed by Mourlier.
Some minor foxing affecting mainly the very first and very last pages.
