Signed autograph inscription from Jacques Derrida to Joseph Joliet, a former student of Derrida who became a very close friend of the philosopher. Very attentive to Joliet's writing, Derrida would write the preface to his novel: "L'enfant au chien assis" ["The child with the sitting dog"] and support him through his difficult periods (cf. Derrida by Benoit Peeters). Handsome copy.
