Half navy blue morocco binding, spine with five raised bands, marbled paper boards, marbled endpapers and pastedowns, original wrappers preserved, top edge gilt, contemporary unsigned binding but attributable to Petitot.
A small tear at head of spine at one raised band.
Autograph inscription signed by Anatole France to Madame Henriette Lefebure.
