New edition, with some parts in first edition, printed in a small number of copies on laid paper.
Half brown shagreen binding, spine with four raised bands decorated with double gilt cartouche ornamented with gilt and blind typographical motifs, dark green shagreen title-label, headcaps worn, joints rubbed, gilt fillet on moiré paper boards, moiré paper endpapers and pastedowns, bookplate pasted to verso of front board, original wrappers preserved, top edge gilt.
