First edition. Spine very lightly sunned without any gravity, final endpaper partially shadowed due to the presence of a press cutting. Handsome autograph inscription signed by Silvina Ocampo to her friend Ema Risso Platero: "A Emita, para que no me olvide en los jardines del mundo en donde hay verdes... que nos dan y temura. Silvina 1963." ["To Emita, so that she doesn't forget me in the gardens of the world where there are greens... that give us tenderness. Silvina 1963."] Ema Risso Platero, Uruguayan diplomat, was a painter, poet, writer (she notably published Arquitecturas del insomnio with a prologue by Borges) and was a friend of Michel Foucault and Jorge Luis Borges.
