Half chocolate shagreen binding, smooth spine decorated with gilt and blind fillets as well as blind fleurons, headcaps very lightly rubbed without damage, marbled paper boards, corners slightly bumped, a few small tears to the leading edges, marbled endpapers and pastedowns.
Some light foxing, gift inscription in pen at head of half-title page.
