Half bordeaux shagreen bindings, spines slightly faded with five raised bands decorated with gilt fleurons and double blind compartments, marbled paper boards, marbled endpapers and pastedowns marginally soiled, contemporary bindings.
Some light foxing without consequence affecting mainly the edges, head caps very slightly rubbed, one stain at foot of pages 275-276 of the first volume.
