Half red morocco binding with corners, spine with four raised bands set with gilt fillets decorated with quadruple gilt compartments, gilt date at foot, moiré-effect paper boards, pink paper endpapers and pastedowns, original wrappers and spine preserved, top edge gilt, retaining its deckled edges.
