Contemporary full dark green shagreen binding, spine with four raised bands decorated with gilt fleurons and blind fillets, covers richly decorated with blind lozenges containing gilt tools, triple blind fillet framing the covers, combed paper endpapers and pastedowns, all edges gilt. Some rubbing at the joints, otherwise handsome copy.

Our copy contains an autograph letter signed by the author dated June 1863.
