First edition on ordinary paper. Copy bearing the author's signature as befits it. 2 copies were printed on China paper and a few copies on Holland paper. Rare, like almost all of the author's works.
Contemporary half red shagreen sheep binding. Smooth spine decorated with a fleuron and fillets. Traces of rubbing. Some scratches on the boards. P. 96 and 94, a foxing stain in the lower margin.
Handsome copy, perfectly fresh, with very white paper.
