Full black cloth binding, smooth spine ornately tooled in gilt arabesques, one joint cracked at foot, sextuple fillet stamped in blind framing the boards, title and vignette representing an allegory of victory accompanied by a cherub stamped in gilt at center of front board, corners very lightly bumped, headcaps damaged, small lacks to spine, yellow paper pastedowns and endpapers, publisher's binding.
