Full black cloth binding, smooth spine decorated with gilt arabesque tools, one joint cracked at foot, cold-stamped sextuple fillet framing the boards, title and vignette depicting an allegory of victory accompanied by a cherub stamped in gilt at center of front board, corners very slightly bumped, yellow paper pastedowns and endpapers, publisher's binding.
