Full aubergine calf bindings, uniformly faded spines with four raised bands set with gilt garlands decorated with gilt compartments at the centers of which appear fleurons and the gilt coat of arms of Lord Seymour nicknamed Milord l'Arsouille, gilt friezes at head and foot, small scuffs at foot and head of joints, double gilt fillet frame on boards, marbled endpapers and pastedowns, gilt edges on cuts, marbled edges, elegant contemporary Romantic bindings.
