First edition in French, one of 20 numbered copies on alfa paper, the only deluxe copies after 1 copy on vellum d'Arches specially printed for Queen Elizabeth II.
Half blue shagreen binding with corners, spine with five raised bands set with blind fillets, marbled paper boards, endpapers and pastedowns, covers and spine preserved, top edge gilt retaining deckled edges.
Spine slightly faded, otherwise a handsome copy attractively bound.
