Half cherry red shagreen binding, spine with five raised bands decorated with gilt dotwork, marginal abrasions to boards, original wrappers preserved. Part of the work has come loose from its binding. A photograph of the author mounted on one of the endpapers. Three small watercolors (two are mounted and one is loosely inserted). Various visiting cards congratulating the author mounted at certain pages. Ernest Gaugiran was general secretary of the central agricultural committee of Sologne.
