Exhibition catalogue listing 65 paintings by Claude Monet exhibited at the Georges Petit gallery, 8, rue de Sèze, from 4 to 18 January 1924. Spine and boards slightly yellowed, a small storage label pasted to the upper left margin of the first cover. Catalogue illustrated with a photographic reproduction of Claude Monet's work "Femmes dans un jardin" and, as frontispiece, a photographic portrait of the painter. Text by Gustave Geoffroy. This exhibition was organized to provide aid to the victims of the terrible earthquake that struck the Japanese island of Honshu on 1 September 1923, destroying 70% of Tokyo and 80% of Yokohama.
