Signed autograph postcard of Kees van Dongen, accompanied by a few words in Flemish, addressed to his wife Augusta Preitinger also known as Guus van Dongen , written on the back of a photographic postcard depicting a scene of Egyptian life at the edge of a canal .
Van Dongen sent this card to his wife on his first trip to Egypt; fascinated by the country, he will return in 1928.
