Signed autograph letter from Alfred de Vigny to Jules Lefèvre-Deumier.
An erasure of the author's hand, two gaps without impact on the text, a stamp of the "archives and collections of JL Debauve".
Alfred de Vigny sends this letter to his fellow poet to invite him to come and have tea at home. He informs him that "Monseigneur of the Church [him] gives an appointment here to [him] to communicate the answer he has received for the case". Jules Lefèvre-Daumier is one of the founders of the magazine La Muse française , a publishing house for the romantics who collaborated with Vigny from 1824 onwards.
