Signed autograph letter from Alfred de Vigny to Eugène d'Auriac. Folds caused by the mailing, a stamp of the "archives and collections of JL Debauve". Alfred de Vigny thanks his correspondent for an order he made for him. This is an order for fabrics that Alfred de Vigny has made in order to make a dress for his wife. He sends this letter to "find out from Auriac which is the most suitable hotel in Rochefort" for a stay in the city in October. His correspondent, Eugène d'Auriac, is a writer and writer of the nineteenth century who participated in the newspaper Le Siècle.
