Original drawing in black ballpoint pen heightened with white gouache to emphasize the cheekbones, eye and eyebrows, by Carlo Rim depicting Raimu, the emblematic Marseilles actor, slightly in profile, in suit and polka-dot bow tie, posing proudly. The drawing bears this legend in pencil and the monogrammed signature of Carlo Rim: "Raimu" in the lower left and right margins of the drawing. Carlo Rim was a Provençal writer "Ma belle Marseille", a caricaturist, a filmmaker and was notably the friend of Fernandel, Raimu and Marcel Pagnol but also of Max Jacob and André Salmon whom he met in Sanary.
