Handwritten signed photographic postcard from Tristan Bernard addressed to his friend the Provençal writer, caricaturist and filmmaker Carlo Rim who was notably the friend of Fernandel, Raimu and Marcel Pagnol but also of André Salmon and Max Jacob (21 lines in black ink on Hotel Windsor letterhead in Cannes).
A small pinhole at the head of the photograph showing all the affection that Carlo Rim had for his venerable friend Tristan Bernard, having certainly hung this postcard in his home.
The postcard shows Tristan Bernard facing forward with his handsome and imposing beard. On the verso, he added:
"Le monsieur du verso, c'est évident, c'est sûr... c'est le plus beau...
