Publisher's binding in full black shagreen signed Boutigny, with his label at the top of the first endpaper. Smooth spine decorated with rococo tools. Boards hot-stamped with a large central decorative ornament and a black frieze on gilt ground forming a border. Edges gilt. Traces of rubbing, particularly at corners. Scattered foxing.
Very handsome copy in its publisher's binding by Boutigny.
